The story of my life so far...

My name is Lee Holloway. I'm 23. I live in Los Angeles, CA. I was recently released from a mental institution. I had been sent there for several months because I accidently cut myself too deep one day with a kitchen knife. My Mom (Joan) and I were doing the dishes and her back was turned. I was sure she couldn't see. That's when I decided to do it. And it's not like I was trying to kill myself when I struck an artery. I had been cutting myself since the 7th grade when my father disappeared for the first time I can remember. Anyway, earlier that night, my older and only sister Theresa had just announced her engagement to Jonathan. Jonathan had lamely put the engagement ring in her hamburger. I tried to be happy for them. I really did, but I became overwhelmed and ended up being sent to the institution. And, though now, I am happy to be back home, I miss the institution's schedules and stability. Breakfast at eight, classes at two, therapy at four and asleep by ten. That's it. I knew who I was during the time I was there. Now, I guess you could say I'm trying to rediscover who I am.

I came home on a Saturday a couple of months ago. The day of my sister's wedding. Woohoo. The best part of that day was seeing Peter again. He was at the wedding reception too. He seemed genuinely concerned for me and that made me very happy. I've had a crush on him since forever. The absolute worst part of the day was seeing my daddy, Burt, get drunk. He had promised not to drink anymore. Sometimes I hate my parents.

Days after Theresa and Jonathan had left on their honeymoon to Dollywood - of all places - Mom enrolled me in a typing class at the community college. That's over with and now, I work for E. Edward Grey, esq. I'm a secretary. His secretary. I need to do something, afterall. I can't stay in the house all day. I'd need to be sent back to the institution. ~~Oh, and my daddy left us again. Who knows when he'll be back.~~
